Josette is remodeling her bathroom and wanted a double walled Japanese Jacuzzi tub to fit in the corner of her bathroom next to the shower. She also ordered two sinks. With a tub order, CCW offers copper sinks close to cost as long as the sinks can be fit into the tub packing crate.

Her walls will be beige and she wanted to have the colors of the tub and sinks to be muted copper oranges with some black and beige and very little copper reds. Only the front and one of the side panels will show as the tub is being built into the corner. The front corner she wanted rounded. Besides the aesthetic beauty of copper soaking tubs and the antimicrobial qualities of copper, his client was attracted to the easy maintenance offered by copper tubs, and the fact that tub water stays steamy hot for up to an hour. In Kate's words - “For our small bathroom in a modest-sized Victorian house, we would like to have a slipper-style plain copper bathtub with claw feet. No detailing other than the feet, in the darkest of brown. That is, just like a cast-iron tub. It's a tight space, so about 64" long, and 29" wide? “

We presented several possible soaking tub designs that met her criteria for her consideration and finally decided on the single slipper with the brass antiqued claw feet. She was matching existing floor tiles and wanted the soaking tub patina to be as dark as we could make.
